After the Vauen company building was destroyed in the Second World War, it was able to be rebuilt by 1958, for its 110th anniversary. The process of sandblasting, coloring and sanding the pipe by hand is reminiscent of the successful reconstruction. The surface refined in this way was complemented with a briar ring.
