MIRIQUIDI

MIRIQUIDI Pipe Tobacco

Miriquidi (Latin for "dark forest") - that is the early medieval name of the Ore Mountains and the once almost impenetrable forest that covered large parts of it. And even today the region is characterized by deep, wide forests that look as if witches, dwarves and wizards could live in them. Between the forests and clear mountain streams lie small, dreamy towns, gentle hills and valleys - a region that invites you to linger, hike, relax and recharge your batteries.

The residents are traditional, hospitable and authentic people. Christmas markets, cozy evenings, Erzgebirge carving, mining and tourism are the cornerstones of life in the Erzgebirge.

The Erzgebirge/Krušnohoří mining region has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2019.

With MIRIQUIDI pipe tobacco we wanted to capture the charm and character of the Ore Mountains. The base is a mixture of Virginia, Burley and a good portion of Black Cavendish. The tobacco smells excellently of nuts from the Nutcracker, caramel and Erzgebirge pastries. The MIRIQUIDI develops a heavenly room note. The taste is reminiscent of a delicately bitter cocoa combined with a slight sweetness.

A tobacco that represents the beauty of nature and cosiness of the Ore Mountains and brings it into your home.
