PDR - Pinar del Rio is the name of a province in western Cuba. However, the tobacco for the cigars does not come from the famous growing region in Cuba, but the seeds do.The brand's cigars are made in the Tabacalera in Tamborli, not far from Santiago de los Caballeros in the Dominican Republic.
Born in New York, Abraham ‘Abe’ Flores spent his youth with his grandfather, who was a tobacco farmer in the Dominican Republic. Back in the United States, he studied marketing. However, he returned to tobacco in a roundabout way.
