Tom Spanu was the only pipe maker worldwide that does all steps in crafting a pipe, from digging out the briar root to the finishing touch, on his own. With the help of his family the briar and the cork is chosen by hand and crafted into an extraordinary complete piece.

After his death in 2015, his family carried on the tradition and still produces unique items in the style of Tom Spanu to this day.


The cork mantel makes the pipe more resilient and insulates it. Every pipe is unique and comes with a decorative cork stand as well as a pipe bag.
