Zählt neben dem Scottish Blend von RMC und Rattray's 7 Reserve zu meinen absoluten Lieblingstabaken. Herrliche Süsse gepaart mit Orient- und Latakiahighlights, abgerundet mit Cavendish, entfaltet sich der Oriental (je nach Pfeife) in Nuancen von geradezu ätherisch bis würzig elegant. Aber: Dieser Tabak braucht Luft und Ruhe. Im mittelgroßen Kopf locker gestopft und nicht zu heiss geraucht ist er ein Hochgenuss. Ansonsten wird er "biestig". Top-Produkt.

Köstliche Mischung. Vollmundig, würzig-fruchtig mit Geschmacknoten von Nuss und Zitrus, von leicht süß bis herzhaft cremig. Sehr, sehr angenehm. Leicht und kühl, kann auch am Morgen geraucht werden. Absolut empfehlenswerter, naturbelassener, Tabak.

Nachdem ich so viele positive Reviews zu diesem Tabak gelesen hatte, habe ich ihn mir bestellt und einige Pfeifen davon geraucht.
Der Tabak kommt etwas strohig und widerspenstig, ist nicht leicht zu stopfen und brennt auch nicht so gut an.
Anfangs überwiegt doch sehr der Latakia-Geschmack (eine Mischung aus Holzkohle-,Lagerfeuer- und Zahnarztpraxis-Aroma) mit dezenter Süsse und Nussigkeit.
Der Tabak schmeckte eigentlich erst in der zweiten Pfeifenhälfte richtig gut, wobei die Nussigkeit mehr in den Vordergrund trat - für mich zu spät. Man hat länger was in der Pfeife als bei den "Dunhill"-Zunder-Mischungen, aber geschmacklich kommt er da nicht heran.
