Cask Aged is a creation by A.J. Fernandez. The hand-made longfillers enjoy a second fermentation in the exhausted, hand-picked Pedro Ximenez sherry casks from Spain's renowned Casknolia Cooperage. As in the Barrel Aged series, there is a cooperation with the renowned fine distillery "Rabbit Hole".
The fermentation process, however, is not about additional aromas, but about deepening and rounding off the existing ones. The blend consists of a Nicaraguan blend (Esteli and Jalapa), a Brazilian Arapiraca binder and a USA Broadleaf wrapper.
