The harp has a very special meaning in Ireland. Harp players enjoyed great respect among the population and in the royal families. They often even acted as advisors to the king. During the time of English rule, all harps were destroyed under Oliver Cromwell. This meant that this instrument was a symbol of resistance and a longing for independence. To this day, the harp reflects the national feeling of the Irish, for example as a national coat of arms.
The Irish Harp pipe has a stylish red color with a matching acrylic mouthpiece. It is also decorated with a handmade ring made of 925 silver, on which an Irish harp is depicted.
